Courses in DTE Karnataka Diploma About DTE Karnataka – Founded in 1959, the Department of Technical Education offers a wide range of technical education programs. According to its vision, DTE Karnataka will promote planned, sustainable development in Technical Education in the State in accordance with National and State policies.
It will also design need-based programs for Diploma institutions and ensure adequate resources and infrastructure to manage the curriculum effectively. In facilitating the development and delivery of state-of-the-art, flexible, informal, and non-formal programs that meet the needs of youth and adults, DTE Karnataka has as its objective.

Admission Procedure – Applications along with Information Brochure will be available online on the KEA & DTE websites at www.kea.kar.nic.in and www.dte.kar.nic.in respectively. Application forms and brochures are available on the website for candidates to download and complete. Each category of reservation has its own admissions criteria for diploma courses. Approximately 50 percent of the total seats are reserved for various groups within society. Those seats allocated to technical courses are based on marks earned in the SSLC.
There is a detailed prospectus for admission to Diploma courses. From 2018-19, the State Government has granted permission for the Department of Technical Education to use the “Online Interactive Counseling” method for admission.

DTE Karnataka Diploma Result 2021
Eligibility
It is mandatory that the applicant is an Indian citizen.
Applicants are required to have passed the Karnataka State School Leaving Examination (K.S.L.E) or an exam of equivalent standing with a minimum of 35%.
For Non-technical (Non-Engineering)Courses:
- a) Completion of Commercial Practice and Apparel Design & Fabrication Technology / Modern Office Management with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks from the Karnataka State Secondary School Leaving Certificate or equivalent exam.
- b) A Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science and Information Management from a Karnataka University or a College equivalent with an aggregate score of 35 percent.
In order to apply to the non-engineering degree program, students should have completed at least five full academic years of study in Karnataka between their first standard and qualifying examination.

Students who have passed the CBSE/ICSE 10th Standard Examination and other states’ candidates are required to provide them with Eligibility Certificates obtained from the Secretary, Board of Technical Examinations, Palace Road, Bangalore – 560 001 during document verification and online application submission.
Eligibility for admission to Evening Polytechnic
After passing SSLC and producing a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the prospective employer, the candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the respective technical field. DTE Karnataka BTELINX Results 2021

- Second option: if you don’t want to choose higher studies, you can apply for jobs. You can go for both government and private jobs

Jobs After Polytechnic

Government Jobs
