UP TET New Exam Date 2022
In order to qualify for the UP TET 2022, you must meet the following requirements:
Eligibility criteria for Uttar Pradesh TET 2022 for primary teachers (classes 1 to 5):
- Candidates must have scored at least 50% in their Intermediate exams.
- The candidate must have finished the B.EL.ED or be in the final year of their studies.
- An RCI-recognized D.Ed (Specialization) degree is required for candidates to apply.
- An NCTE-affiliated institute must have passed the final year of a bachelor’s degree in teaching.
- Candidate must have passed Aligarh Muslim University’s diploma in teaching or be in their final year of studies.
- Candidates for Urdu teachers who have graduated in the Urdu stream or are Moa-‘ll-e-Urdu degree holders from Aligarh Muslim University prior to August 11, 1997, are eligible for consideration.
- Those who have graduated from college or university.

Higher Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8): UPTET 2022 Eligibility Requirements
- Candidates must have scored at least 50% in their Intermediate exams.
- The candidate must have finished the B.EL.ED or be in the final year of their studies.
- Candidates must have completed their Aligarh Muslim University diploma in teaching or be in the final year of their studies.
- Aspirants for Urdu teachers: Aligarh Muslim University graduates or Moa-‘llim-e-Urdu degree holders before August 11, 1997, are eligible.
Candidates who have graduated from college or university.
- The final-year B.Ed student in an NCTE-affiliated institution.
- Students who are in their last year of L.T. at an NCTE-affiliated institution are eligible to apply.
- The final year B.Ed student at an RCI-affiliated institution.

The following are the exam patterns for UPTET 2022:
- The UP TET 2022 exam will be held in an offline format.
- One paper will be for persons applying to be primary teachers (1st to 5th graders) while the other papers will be for those applying to be sixth to eighth grade teachers
- There will be an objective sort of question paper.
- Negative marks are not allowed.
- For every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.
